Who we are

Welcome to Sunnymead, set in an idyllic rural setting. Sunnymead is a family business run by Matthew. First established over 30 years ago, the business has grown over time, through reputation and word of mouth.

Our team is dedicated to creating the best alternative to home for every pet, understanding the unique personality of your pet is paramount to the care and attention we provide, therefore creating the most comfortable stay possible.

This is the 2nd time we’ve boarded our dog at Sunnymead, he came out last year wagging his tail and that happy he wanted to follow Brian back into kennels haha. This year we couldn’t have asked for more from the team. Our flight was delayed badly by the UK air traffic control system failure. I texted Brian to see if he could board my dog for an extra night at short notice & Brian didn’t hesitate to say yes. I can’t thank him enough for putting my mind at rest. Thank you again Brian and team. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Sunnymead again.

My cat went to Sunnymead Kennels for the first time this July and they did a brilliant job of looking after him. All the pens have an outside space so they can watch the wildlife. They dealt with his medication really well too. He had never been in a Kennels before but was so chilled when he came home, I couldn't have ask for anymore.
